The RadPointer® beta and gamma probes assist surgeons in locating cancerous tumors, metastases, or sentinel lymph nodes labeled with radiopharmaceuticals. These probes enable the precise removal of targeted tissue with minimal damage to the surrounding healthy tissue. This procedure is typically performed during surgery, shortly after PET or SPECT preoperative imaging, thereby making additional use of the radioisotope administered to the patient.
